Maple Leaves

Maple Leaves

This pattern uses traditional stacked technique. For stacked patterns, I would rate its difficulty level as medium. But just like most of the stacked patterns, this one too requires some skill and a lot of attention. Familiarity with stacked techique is not required, but highly desirable.

These leaves can be knit all over, for a rectangular wrap or scarf; or you can knit just a few leaves rows followed by plain garter or any other pattern of your choice; the leaves blend into a flat line without fancy tricks (it is all in the pattern).
