Mirage

I designed this pattern to match my Mirage wrap. Although knit with different techniques, both patterns have the same tapered zigzag as a main design feature. Mirage hat pattern is also available.
This pattern is mostly for the gloves (2 sizes available). The instruction for the gloves are given in all details. The directions for matching socks and a hat are quite generic, and will only be suitable for those who have knit those items before. I don't explain how to knit heels and toes in details, assuming you can use your favorite method for that.
 
Materials (for the gloves only):
 You will need 60g (240m) of fingering-weight yarn total (400m / 100g).
- 15-20 g (60 - 80m) of each of the two colors for the cuff, and 30-35g (120 - 140m) of main color.
You will also need circular needles (2mm, or US size 0), a cable needle (optional, not required) and 10-12 stitch holders (I use bendable metal staples instead) or some scrap yarn, and a darning needle.
Gauge – approximately 36st X 40r = 10cm for stranded colorwork.
 Size – with suggested gauge, these gloves can be knit in two sizes; on 60 sts for size small, and on 66 sts for size medium.
